It's been an odd day around here.

I have been waiting to hear news of a birth and a death.

One friend is expecting her thirday baby - she was born late this morning. And, around the world, another friend is dying from cancer.

A beautiful life ravaged by a terrible disease and a new life just waiting to begin clean and fresh.
